Period ("the App") is a menstrual cycle tracking app made by Dmitrii Rozhkov, an independent developer ("we", "us").
The short version: we collect nothing. At all.
1. What we collect
Nothing. The App has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no third‑party SDKs. The App does not send the information you enter to us or to anyone else, and we have no way to see it.
2. Where your data lives
Everything you enter — dates, observations, symptoms, names and settings — is stored only on your device, in the App's local storage and in a storage container shared solely with the App's own widget. It is not synced to any server of ours. If your device is backed up by Apple (for example, iCloud Backup), that backup is handled by Apple and we have no access to it.
Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. They are not sent through any server.
3. Tracking
We do not track you — not inside the App, and not across other companies' apps or websites. The App uses no advertising identifier (IDFA), no installation or device identifiers, no cookies and no fingerprinting. We do not use the App Tracking Transparency framework because there is nothing to ask permission for.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, share, rent or transfer any data, because we do not have any. The App does not write to Apple Health.
5. Apple services
The App is sold for a one‑time price on the App Store and has no in‑app purchases or subscriptions. Payment is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/). We never see your payment details or your identity.
6. Your control
- Export: you can export everything the App stores as a readable JSON file at any time.
- Delete: you can delete everything in one step, including notifications that were already delivered. Deleting the App also removes all of its data from your device.
Both features are free, forever.
7. Children
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. If the App ever starts collecting any data, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
